Case 1
Background or History of Present Illness:
A 6-year-old child presents with a mildly pruritic rash on their trunk. The parents report that the child may have had a low-grade fever the day prior to the rash developing but no other symptoms. The parents do not know whether the child had contact with anyone else with a similar rash; the child is up to date on all recommended vaccines.
